Otherworldly ancient civilization in Egypt

I visited Egypt for three days specifically for the pyramids – true wonders of the ancient world which I found absolutely stunning. Went to the well-known complex at Giza, but also to Sakkara and Dahshur for even more intriguing ancient structures. Several pictures and a brief report in the new Egypt album:

Fortified churches of Transylvania

Visited some fascinating places in Transylvania last weekend: the fortified churches of Prejmer, Biertan and Viscri (the last one is a must), Fagaras fortress, Rupea citadel, Carta monastery and the beautiful religious complex at Sinca Veche. Several pictures added to the Transylvania album:

Exploring Croatia

Visited Croatia, one of Europe’s most scenic countries with the beautiful Adriatic coast, over 1,000 islands and nicely restored foritified cities, all open for exploration.
