Prague is a beautiful Central European capital featuring plenty of sights and activities, nice historical buildings and pretty bridges, good food, excellent beer and a relaxed and enjoyable vibe.

The Old Town centered around Old Town Square is a must see and presents lots to do and see: the astronomical clock with its whimsical hourly display; pretty views of the town from the Old Town Hall tower; going to a classical music concert at the beautiful Tyn Church; souvenir shopping on Charles Bridge; sampling local delicacies including Prague ham and sausages, absinthe, the delicious Trdelnik ice cream cake and, of course, beer.

A cruise on the Vltava river is another nice and relaxing activity (we used Prague Boats). Strelecky Island is a relaxing spot featuring various birds and the occasional playful nutria. In the Prague Castle complex I enjoyed the exceptional Saint Vitus Cathedral which I thoug was one of the city's highlights.

Another scenic area is Petrin hill reachable by cable car. The eponymous tower located here offers nice views of the surrounding area and of Prague city. Another interesting structure is Zizkov TV Tower which offers even more scenic views.
