In Denmark I visited Aero, a charming little island with beautifully preserved historical buildings and towns, and a true delight for the photographer (I stayed in Aeroskobing and also passed through Svendborg).

The capital city of Copenhagen is nice. I enjoyed the pedestrianized Stroget and climbing on top of the Rundetaarn tower. While in town don't miss The Little Mermaid, its most well-known symbol, and the charming Tivoli Gardens. Arhus is Denmark's second largest city and was also an enjoyable experience.
