I enjoyed Gothenburg, the only place I visited in Sweden: it's a nice and quiet city, and has two of the coolest attractions I've ever been to.

Maritiman is a naval museum with a large collection of warships and commercial vessels, including a submarine. The greatest thing? you cand roam all of them freely inside and out.

Aeroseum is a former underground air force base turned flight museum. Once again, you can roam freely around all sorts of military jets and even get inside the cockpit for a closer look and feel (including playing with the worn-out gear and all). It doesn't get much cooler than that.

I also liked the 8 km-long Oresund Bridge connecting Sweden to Denmark - an impressive feat as far as infrastructure projects go.
