This album includes pictures from my USA travels (except California, which is a separate album). First, I have some pictures from a trip to Las Vegas where I enjoyed its casinos and crazy atmosphere. Also went to the nice Zumanity show and visited the Atomic Testing Museum.

Next, I have some pictures from a trip to Florida. The Sunshine State is full of beaches and cool places to explore. I visited the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, NASA's most important space centre. There's lots to see here, including launch pads 39A and 39B used for the Apollo missions and the Space Shuttle, the famous Vehicle Assembly Building and the Space Shuttle landing strip, a full-size almost-flown real Saturn V Rocket and the actual Atlantis Space Shuttle! Really fascinating stuff. Here I had the opportunity to view the launch of the Orion EFT-1 mission - a test of the Orion Multi-purpose Crew Vehicle intended to be used for the human exploration of the asteroids and Mars. The rocket used was the awesome Delta IV Heavy - the most powerful rocket in operation at the time. The launch, which was delayed by one day, was viewed from much farther away than the one I saw in Baikonur, but was still very impressive.

In Florida I also went to the charming little town of Key West. The road to Key West on the Overseas Highway is spectacular. Other destinations included Disney World and Seaworld in Orlando, and an airboat ride in the Evergaldes.

Finally, this album includes some older pictures from a trip to the East Coast and a bit of Arizona (these pictures are scanned from film). New York is fascinating, while Washington is visitor-friendly, full of museums, monuments and landmarks. Don't miss the fantastic Air & Space Museum with a very good collection of space exhibits, including the Allan Hills meteorite which some scientists claim contains proof of life on Mars.

Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon are spectacular natural wonders, with the latter being truely breathtaking - the scale is immense and pictures don't really do it justice. I also enjoyed a trip to the Meteor Crater in Arizona.
