Ancient History and Good Food in Rome

Updated the Italy album following a brief visit to Rome. I loved the food (nothing beats Italian food from Italy) and the ancient monuments.

Rome is a beautiful city, full of monuments, art and delightful foutains and squares. The Collosseum was the highlight of this trip – impressive what ancient people did for fun & games (get a ticket and tour it inside as well).

I also located the headquarters of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, the modern continuation of the Knights of Saint John established in the XIth Century. Why is this organization intriguing? because the SMOM is the only sovereign order, which issues its own passports, stamps and license plates even though it does not have its own country or independent territory.
